First Response Finance

The challenge

A full domain migration and rebrand for a regulated consumer finance business. In finance, a migration that loses visibility does not just lose traffic, it loses applications and revenue, and the regulatory environment leaves no room for shortcuts. After the migration, the job became growth: making organic the channel the board could count on.

What we did

Alex planned and delivered the migration end to end: full URL mapping, redirect strategy, structured data, pre and post launch crawl monitoring, and rollback plans for every stage. Once the new domain was stable, a sustained programme of technical improvement and intent led content followed, alongside board level reporting that connected organic performance to applications and profit rather than rankings.

The result

Zero material traffic loss through one of the highest-stakes migrations in the industry. Two years of sustained growth on the new domain followed, with organic becoming the most profitable acquisition channel in the business.

A migration is not a risk to be survived. Done properly, it is the foundation for years of growth.

Helicon USA

The challenge

A US foundation repair company with strong service delivery but limited organic visibility, sitting at around 1.5K organic visits a month in a market where competitors were investing heavily in search.

What we did

Alex rebuilt the organic strategy around service and location intent: technical fixes to crawl and indexation, a content programme targeting the problems homeowners actually search for, and structural work to make every service area visible in its own right.

The result

Monthly visits nearly tripled from 1.5K to 4.3K, with ranking keyword volume growing to 5.5K. The estimated monthly value of that traffic rose from around $16K to $44.3K — a near three-fold increase in what the organic channel would cost to replicate in paid search.

Nearly tripling traffic is good. Nearly tripling what that traffic would cost to buy is the number that matters.

Dustout Air Duct Cleaning

The challenge

A local air duct cleaning business competing in a market dominated by aggregators and bigger operators, needing local visibility that turned into booked jobs rather than vanity rankings.

What we did

Alex combined local SEO fundamentals with GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) — the layer most local businesses miss entirely. Google Business Profile optimisation, location and service page work, review strategy and entity clarity built specifically so the brand would surface when customers asked ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok for local recommendations. The result: 100% coverage across all four major AI platforms.

The result

Clicks grew 237% quarter on quarter with impressions up 180%. Page one keywords reached 80 and average position improved from 23.3 to 14.8. Critically, the business now shows up across all four major AI platforms — ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity — when customers ask for local recommendations.

For a local business, the win is not a ranking. It is the phone ringing, and it rang.

Healthcare · US · Consultancy

Greater Texas Foot & Ankle

The challenge

A podiatry practice whose site ranked for its name but not for the treatments patients were actually searching for, leaving appointment demand on the table.

What we did

Alex built a treatment led content strategy: a page for each condition and treatment, written around real patient search language, supported by technical cleanup and structured data appropriate for a healthcare practice.

The result

Clicks more than doubled in a 28-day comparison — up 104.9% — with impressions rising 101.6% in the same window. Average position improved from 12.3 to 9.3, pushing more pages into the top-ten results patients actually click.

Patients do not search for practice names. They search for their problem, so that is where the content went.

Ecommerce · US · Consultancy

Prepa Pizza

The challenge

An ecommerce pizza oven brand that needed two things at once: to own every search containing its own name, and to capture shoppers searching with product intent before they reached a competitor or a marketplace.

What we did

Alex ran a brand protection and product intent strategy: locking down brand and product term rankings, building out product and category visibility, and structuring the site around the buying journey from research to purchase.

The result

The site now ranks at number one for brand and product terms, with 8.6K ranking keywords and around 5K estimated monthly visits. The estimated monthly traffic value sits at $4.2K — organic paying for itself many times over against a paid search equivalent.

In ecommerce, owning your own brand in search is not optional. It is the floor, and the growth builds on top of it.
